Sunehra = ‘golden’ or ‘beautiful’ in Urdu/ Hindi
Sunehra isn’t actually my name, but just like Beyonce’s ‘Sasha Fierce’, you can say Sunehra is my alter ego. I first heard the name when I was a teenager, looked up the meaning and decided right then and there, if I were to ever change my name, Sunehra would be it. Then, I realized that I’m just too lazy to go through all that paperwork and decided to name my future daughter, Sunehra, instead.
What do I blog about? My hits and misses as a part-time freelance writer and full-time web editor/producer/copywriter, dealing with a confusing and frustrating medical condition I have called ‘Polycystic Ovary Syndrome’ and a general navigation of life as a 25-year-old second-generation Bangladeshi-American.
